The Airness of a Fruit

Incredible, if you told me this about 3 months ago. I would have not believe it. ITS TRUE!!! Its real and its bloody thin! Now for the real specs

Weighing only
1.36 kg it comes comes with with a hefty price tag of up 5k SGD. Imagine carrying this on your way to work. Its bloody thin @ 0.76 inch compared to thinnest part of a Sony TZ series laptop. A new toy for the ladies i think, those who are looking for a laptop that doesn't work out their arms.

The machine does not come with a CD/DVD drive of any sorts. Making a colleague of mine labeling it a disaster for sales but then again with thumb drives going 8gb and beyond. The discs are really just extras.

13 Inch 1.6Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo ($SGD 2, 988)

  • 2GB memory
  • 80GB 4200-rpm PATA hard drive1
  • Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi2 and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR

13 Inch1.8Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo ($SGD 5, 088)
  • Intel Core 2 Duo processor
  • 2GB memory
  • 64GB solid-state drive1
  • Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi2 and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR

And some videos to see what its all about

Something brewing strong

Well well, time of the year again.

In only an hour left, all of us Mac fanboys will know what is it this year. For those who had bought the fruity shares last year that is a VERY impressive gain on the stocks.
Anyway will this be the MacBook Air??? or even Air Book? Up to you to decide. Not much guessing to do anyway, the results will come in about an hour's time. I say this is for real. Especially the design on the 'Book', so far iMac has followed the iPhone in the dark silver & black color theme. This, the Mac Airness will follow as well. Not top notch coverage on the book but something to ponder about.

Wafer thin. Rumored for the past year.
